Eligibility
Residency: Residents of the Northwest Territories for at least twelve consecutive months
Field of Study: Pursuing post-secondary studies in a field related to housing
Current employees of the Government of the Northwest Territories are ineligible to apply.

Amount Available: 12 awards, $1,000 each
Application Process
Individuals interested in applying must create a profile on our scholarship application portal. Once your profile is created, you will need to complete our eligibility quiz and then submit an application for the student award. Applications will be made available during our scholarship intake season, every spring.

History of the Fund
The Yellowknife Community Foundation administers the Tom Williams Memorial Scholarship and Alfred Moses Memorial Scholarship for Housing NWT. Established in 2023 by Housing NWT in memory of Tom Williams and Alfred Moses, the purpose of these scholarships is to support residents of the Northwest Territories pursuing post-secondary education in a field related to housing.
