The Yellowknife Community Foundation is unique in the Northwest Territories because we don’t focus on one area of need. Becoming a sponsor is easy! Contact us directly at information@ykcf.ca or 867-446-4527, and we’ll guide you through the process. The process is simple and includes a short discussion to determine the level at which you’d like to sponsor, and signing of a sponsorship agreement. 

Your sponsorship helps us deliver impactful programs, support community initiatives, and reach more people in need. To show the impact of our work, we deliver four quarterly e-newsletters and one annual report. We also post regularly on our social media about what’s going on at the Foundation.

Yes, we welcome in-kind contributions such as goods, services, or other resources that align with our needs.

Yes, we value partnerships with businesses of all sizes. We can work with you to create a sponsorship package that fits your budget and goals.

Yellowknife Community Foundation cannot issue a charitable tax receipt to sponsoring businesses, but businesses can claim the sponsorship as an advertising expense. More information about this can be found here. 

Yes, individuals and families can absolutely sponsor! We welcome support from anyone who wants to make a difference. Sponsorships can be customized to fit your goals and interests, and we’ll work with you to recognize your contribution in a meaningful way.
