500 words on your involvement in activities that make Yellowknife a better community.

500 words on the benefit you and the community they live in will obtain from the scholarship; your community involvement and contribution; your willingness to be involved in promotional activities related to the scholarship; and how the scholarship will assist them in achieving their STEM based goals.

200 words on how the scholarship will enable you to develop your music skills through studies with a private instructor/mentor or through a postsecondary music program - for the rest of the criteria please see the information page.

200 words on the benefit the community will obtain from the grant, including the expected duration of Seniors / Elders benefits resulting from the project; community involvement and contribution, including evidence of project endorsement from at least one Seniors / Elders institution or society within the City; willingness to be involved in promotional activities in relation to this grant.

500 words on how providing the scholarship to the applicant will benefit the north, how you have demonstrated the academic ability to be successful in your chosen field and your past/current involvement in and contribution(s) to your community.

500 words on your eligibility with reference to the Chris Argue Memorial Fund criteria; how the planned activities will further the purpose of the fund; a detailed plan outlining the proposed use of the funds.

500 words on why you are applying for the scholarship, how you became involved or developed your interest in the mining industry and how this scholarship will help your career or academic goals.

200 words max outlining: what your business idea/goal is; how you want to work towards this; how this funding support will help you get there. Please also indicate your age.

500 words on your community involvement, participation in high performance sport and, if appropriate, economic need.

For an individual, their involvement in cross country skiing programs as a participant or coach, coach assistant or Jackrabbit leader); how the grant will contribute to your achieving their your or a plan for how the funds will be used.

200 words on why you are applying for the scholarship, what portaion of education costs will the funds be used for and how long you have been active in the sport/sports identified in the elegibility criteria.

500 words on why you are applying for the scholarship. What performing arts, film, music or writing studies activities you have been involved in, what your role in any such activity was and how the scholarship will contribute to them achieving you goals.

500 words on how you will be purusing artistic excellence in your chosen area.

500 words on why you are applying for the grant; your in search and rescue/recover activities, emergency response activities, or outdoor skills/survival training activities; and how the grant will further your related career or volunteer goals.

500 words on your academic and career goals, your role in their chosen field, the qualities you bring to the field and how the scholarship will help them achieve their goals.

500 words on how you have met the criteria for the scholarship, your school and community involvement, (volunteer work, extra-curricular activities, leadership skills etc.) and your future goals.

500 words on the benefit you will obtain from the grant / scholarship, a willingness to be involved in promotional activities in relation to the grant and your career aspirations for the future as related to office administration / management.

500 words on why you are pursuing studies in second languages and/or cultures, your academic experience and community involvement in the area of second languages and/or cultures and your involvement (if any) with Ms. Borges-Oldham either as a teacher, principal or through one of the clubs she organized.

300 - 500 words on how your past activites reflect the guiding values of the Luke Charpentier Memorial Fund.

500 words on why you are applying for the grant, what sport/leadership activities you have been involved with and how the grant will contribute to you achieving your career goals.

500 words on why you wish to puruse a career in aviation in the NWT or Nunavut, what aviation related actiities you have been involved with and how the scholarship will contribute to you achieving your career goals in aviation in the NWT.

500 words on why you are applying for the scholarship, your involvement or interest in municipal affairs, civic pride or promotional activites for Yellowknife and how the scholarship will assist your career or academic goals.

500 words on why you are applying for the scholarship, the qualities you exhibit in pursuing advanced hockey opportunities and how the scholarship will contribute to you achieving your goals.

500 words on why you are applying for the scholarship.

200 words on how you will benefit from the scholarship, your community involvement and contribution and how your chosen field is related to mining or resource development or a mining related trade.

500 words on how you will benefit from the grant / scholarship, your community involvement and the contribution that you are making to soccer in the Northwest Territories and a willigness to be involved inpromotional activities in relation to the grant.

200 words on your involvement in and contribution to your community and your willingness to be involved in promotional activities related to the scholarship. You should indicate your availability during the summer following the submission of your application.

When selecting and sending your photo, please make sure that it's at least 3,000 pixels wide and it's a clear head shot and only you are visible in the photo. The photo will only be used if you are successful in receiving a scholarship. You can send up to 3 photos.
