Jonas Konge Memorial Fund

About the Jonas Konge Memorial Fund

Established in 2010, the purpose of the Jonas Konge Memorial Fund is to support residents of the Northwest Territories pursuing a second or subsequent year of post-secondary studies in medicine or nursing at a recognized College or University and planning to practice in the Northwest Territories after graduation.

.

The fund also supports the Stanton Territorial Hospital Foundation in purchasing new capital equipment or programs (approved and identified by GNWT Health and Social Services) for the branches of Pediatrics or Neo-natal care. Grants will be designed to support new initiatives for the Stanton Territorial Hospital and/or Government approved clinic settings, and not to replace existing capital equipment.
