Calling for Board Members!
The Yellowknife Community Foundation (YKCF) is seeking expressions of interest from people who have the passion, capacity and enthusiasm to join our board and work collaboratively with other volunteers and our staff to advance the strategic goals of the Foundation.
This year, YKCF is prioritizing applications from those that have experience in financial management, accounting and fundraising.
Board terms begin/renew at the Annual General Meeting (May of each year) and directors are elected to serve 1-3 year terms. Directors may serve up to 3 consecutive terms. The board of directors meets 7 times per year. Board members are also expected to contribute to standing committees and other ad-hoc projects. Time commitments run on an average of 3-7 hours per month.
